Adam John Boisen, 19, passed away on August 5, 2025, at his home in La Farge. He was born on June 14, 2006, to Jim and Angie Boisen.
As a child Adam was a happy, adventurous, and uncoordinated little boy and loved sports. While growing up he wrestled for a few years, then played football, basketball, track/field, and volleyball. In every sport he excelled and was a leader, receiving awards for good sportsmanship. He received the WIAA Referees Sportsmanship Award. Adam had a big heart and would always fist bump the opposing team after foul shots because others mattered more to him than winning. Adam loved all his teammates and worked hard to encourage and help them succeed. After months of hard work, he went to state in track and placed 6th in the high jump. Adam enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He was working in construction with Sylvan Goeke and was planning to start his own business someday.
“Uncle Adam” was adored by all his nieces and nephews. A highlight for the children was all-nighters in Uncle Adam’s bedroom playing video games on his 75” TV, eating chips, and drinking pop from his mini frig. He was the life of the party and the guy everyone wanted to be around because he was trustworthy, dependable, and encouraging. Adam was the kind of kid every parent wanted their children to surround themselves with.
He loved to tease his siblings with loving sarcasm. Adam enjoyed hanging out with them and was always there for them to listen, encourage or lend a helping hand. He was happy to take payment for work or babysitting in the form of food…lots of food and milk by the gallon.
Adam loved his girlfriend Tiernee more than anything. She meant the world to him. All her friends wanted to find someone like Adam, a gentleman who treated them well.
He was a devoted son who was deeply loved. His parents were proud of his strong character, gentle heart, and deep faith in Christ Jesus. Whether Adam knew you or not he would go out of his way to encourage you and be your friend. The world will not be the same without his smile. The call for “Mother” or “Pap’s” will forever be missed.
Adam is survived by his parents, James and Angela Boisen; brothers: Bradey (Lisa), James “Jimmy”, and David; sisters: Stephany (Zach) Hansen, Whitney (Aaron) Juetten, Sarah (Colin) Landis, April (Jared) Aspenson, Lucy (Weston) Kabat, and Kaylee Boisen; 22 nieces and nephews; maternal grandparents, David and Pam Grindle; paternal grandparents, Jim Boisen and Margie Walker; girlfriend, Tiernee Arndt; and his loving dog and companion Bailey, who was faithful until the end.
He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandma Rose Schroeder; Uncle Paul Schroeder, Uncle Leslie “Bear” Boisen; and Aunt Gina Boisen.
