Adam Hemmersbach Obituary

Adam Lee Hemmersbach, 36, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021, as a result of an ATV accident.

Adam was born on July 8th, 1984 to Stanley and Lori (Rude) Hemmersbach at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua, WI.  He was raised on the family farm near Westby, WI. He is a 2002 graduate of Westby High School.  He was currently working at Foremost Farms USA as a Maintenance Technician in Reedsburg, WI. He married Shannon Barres in 2005. Together they had 5 children. They later divorced. On October 7th, 2017 he married Danilyn Hofmeister and Adam adopted her daughter Paisley to add to his ever-growing family.

Adam had a great joy for life.  He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it and would help out others, no matter the hour or time of day. He exhibited so much love for his amazing wife and 6 beautiful children. They meant the world to him. If Adam was not working or posting on Facebook, you could find him in his heated shop fixing something for himself or for someone else. He loved buying ATV’s and fixing them up for his family. They all enjoyed taking family rides together. If you needed a laugh you could count on Adam for that. He will be deeply missed by all that were blessed to know him. We will hold all his memories near to our hearts. We must keep the faith and trust in the Lord.

In life, Adam was always the first to lend a hand and his decision to be an organ donor will assure this legacy continues. He will be saving the lives of a few strangers in this world. While we grieve, other families are rejoicing because Adam is giving their loved ones a second chance. Great job Adam!! Always helping others! We are so proud.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Danilyn; sons: Blake, Lathan and Levi; daughters: Sydney, Aspen, and Paisley; his loving parents, Stan and Lori Hemmersbach; sister, Amanda (Valente) Solverson; niece, Emma Solverson; father and mother in-law, Bob and Kay Hofmeister; grandparents: Del Marie Hemmersbach, Bud and Ione Hauser; brother in-law, Willis (Angie) Hofmeister; nephew, Caleb; niece, Adyson Hofmeister; sisters in-law, Callie Revels & Mike Watson, Desiree Willinger (Boyfriend Ethan Karals); niece, MacKenna;  nephews: Landyn Willinger, CJ (John) Sordahl, and David Sordahl.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arnold Hemmersbach and Douglas Rude; uncle, PJ Hauser; aunts, Kaye and Linda Hemmersbach, and many other relatives.

Adam’s family would like to thank all the wonderful care givers who helped him during this tragic time. We want to thank the Hillsboro first responders and St Joseph’s Hospital Hillsboro. Thank you to Med link and to the wonderful staff at Gunderson Healthcare in LaCrosse. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family memorial will be held. A celebration of life to honor Adam will be held in Hillsboro this summer for friends and family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family.
