Alissa “Ali” Henning, a gifted equestrian and beloved friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with glioblastoma. Surrounded by her loved ones, she was 42 years young.
Born on April 15, 1983, Ali brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her. Her exceptional talent and deep connection with animals, particularly horses, were evident throughout her life. A highly skilled rider and trainer, she achieved numerous accolades in her equestrian career, her accomplishments too numerous to list. More than her awards, however, Ali was known and cherished for her generosity and unwavering support of her peers, offering guidance and wisdom to those she mentored. Her influence extended far and wide throughout the horse community, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness and expertise.
Ali’s life was enriched by deep and meaningful relationships. She is survived by her loving partner, Jesse, her mother, Linda Antonicci, her brother, Nick Antonicci. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Antonicci. She will be deeply missed by her cherished friends, Jess, Autumn, Lydia, and Lisa, as well as countless others whose lives she touched.
Ali's warm spirit, gentle heart, and extraordinary talent will be remembered fondly. A Celebration of Life will be held to honor her memory on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Wisco 8, 2622 Riley Rd, Sparta, WI 54656. All who knew and loved Ali are welcome to attend and share their memories.
