Obituary
Alvin A. Gardner Jr., 74, of Soldiers Grove passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his daughters.
He was born on September 9, 1948, to Alvin and Myrtle (Olson) Gardner.
Alvin worked very hard his whole life and had many different business ventures. Some of his favorites included: managing the Holiday Station, farming, and selling cars. Spending time with his family and tractor pulls were his favorite things to do.
He is survived by his daughters: Molly (Nate) Buros, Jennifer (Keith) Styles, Mia Gardner, and Kara Gardner; grandchildren: Lauren and Tyler Buros, Gunnar and Gage Styles, Deven Gabrielson, and Mai Peterson; a niece, nephews, other relatives, and many special friends.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marilyn Wedwick; brother, Kelly Gardner; and nephew, Mark Wedwick.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ocooch Mountain EMS and the Roth Family Cremation Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 17, 2023, at the VFW from 3 p.m. - 6. pm. with a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. with Charley Fisher officiating.
The Roth Family Cremation Center is assisting the family.
