With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of a proud Ho-Chunk/Hispanic woman whose spirit was rooted in faith, family, and tradition. She carried herself with strength, grace, and deep love for her tribe, and heritage. Her spirituality guided her through life and gave comfort to all who knew her. She found joy in the simple blessings of life, especially the companionship of her beloved dogs, who brought her endless happiness and comfort.
Through her courageous journey with ovarian cancer, she was never alone. By her side with unwavering love and devotion, was her husband, Mark, who cared for her tenderly every step of the way. Their bond was one of true partnership, loyalty, and enduring love. She was lovingly supported throughout this journey this past year by her bestie/twinzy sister Guadalupe, and devoted daughter Melissa whose compassion and presence brought comfort and support, along with several local community members and friends.
She will be remembered for her strength, her loving heart, her spiritual light, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
