Anthony William Skolos

Anthony William Skolos, 70, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Vernon Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 15, 1951, to Myron and Garnet Skolos in Viroqua, WI.  He married Elaine Nelson on April 27, 1974.  Anthony worked at Economics Laboratory in Joliet, IL until he returned to Viroqua where he worked at Nuzum’s Lumber Yard, NCR, and Wal-Mart.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, listening to music, and had many good times with friends and family.  He was a Deacon at North West Prairie Lutheran Church and President of the Eagles Club Aerie # 2707.   

Anthony is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elaine; three children:  Mark (Bridget) Skolos, Kimberly (Randy) Beach, and Michelle Skolos; four grandchildren:  Ryan Johnson, Bekka Fish, Trysten Fish, and Makenna Skolos.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roger and Larry Skolos; one sister-in-law, Marge Skolos; and one nephew, Richard Skolos.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 4th at the Roth Family Cremation Center at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Timothy Dunham will be officiating.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to North West Prairie Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
