Arthur L. Larson

Arthur L. Larson, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Westby on August 26, 2024.  He was born to Hattie and Sigert Larson on January 29, 1939. He married Carolyn Robinson on June 9, 1966, in Waukon, Iowa.

Arthur owned and operated “Larson Brothers Body Shop” in Westby for over 40 years. Many cars were repaired and restored there. He collected toy tractors and cars over many years. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee every evening with his wife. He loved family gatherings, Western movies, as well as traveling and vacations in his younger years. Arthur battled seven different cancers over 12 years.  His wife loved and cared for him at home until God took another angel.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn;  four daughters: Angela (Jeff) Swenson, Kathy (Joe) Weisinger, Connie (Gerald) Vesbach, and Deanna Wachter;  one sister and one brother; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his mother Hattie (Larson) Olson; father Sigert Larson; siblings: Sigert Larson Jr., Rebecca Shumate, Margaret Inman, Richard Larson, and Theodore Larson.

A private graveside service and burial will be held with family and friends.
