Billie Margaret Hatfield

Billie Margaret Hatfield, age 66, of LaFarge, WI, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones in the early morning of October 27, 2022.

Billie was born on July 7, 1956, and attended school in the LaFarge Area School District.  She married Martin Hatfield on August 16, 1974, and they spent 48 wonderful years together.  She had a career at Organic Valley for 25 years as a collection’s specialist.

Billie loved animals, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her grandchildren.  Billie had a true green thumb and created beautiful outdoor spaces to be enjoyed by her and her family, where conversation and laughter could be heard in the wind while she visited with those close to her.  Her flower displays were a beautiful reminder of nature and life being beautiful.

Billie is survived by her husband, Martin Hatfield Sr.; children, Martin Hatfield Jr. (Kimberly) and Dan Hatfield; her grandchildren: Teaka Hatfield, Garrett Hatfield, and Dominick Hatfield; and many other family and friends.  A service will be held to celebrate Billie on November 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church in LaFarge, WI.  A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Billie was loved by many and friends with everyone.
