Brandon L. Larson

Brandon L. Larson, 39, of Viroqua passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022.  Brandon was born Thursday, September 30, 1982, at Vernon Memorial Hospital.  He attended Viroqua Area Schools and graduated in 2001.

Brandon lived a happy life despite fighting and overcoming many challenges throughout his short life.  Brandon was a fighter and always gave his all.  As someone said, “He fought the fight.”

He was loved by many and spent countless happy times with his family.  A lot of those in Derek’s go-cart.  Brandon loved big trucks and also horses, getting to ride during school therapy classes.

We want to thank his many caregivers, especially those at Tenderheart Adult Group Home.  The staff are caring and attentive.  The owner said about Brandon, “That man has some charisma.” 

Brandon is survived by his parents, Mary and Scott; brother, Derek; grandparents, Theodore and Karen Larson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty and Archie Nelson Jr.; Aunt Susan Schye; and great grandparents and other relatives on both sides of his family.

Brandon, you have always made us smile, love you always!

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Lisa Shank officiating.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service.  Burial will take place in the Viroqua Cemetery.

The Roth Family Cremation Center is serving the family.
