Caroline Kay Sheldon

Caroline Kay Sheldon, 68, of rural Viroqua passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, at the Soldiers Grove Health Services in Soldiers Grove.  She was born August 9, 1956 in Richland County to Verlin and Fern (Coggon) Wilder.  On July 29, 1989 she married Monte Sheldon. 

She always enjoyed mowing yards, going for joy rides around the countryside with her husband, and doing anything and everything for her grandkids, like taking them fishing or going to the skate parks.  She always enjoyed decorating for the holidays.

Caroline is survived by her husband Monte Sheldon of Viroqua; one son Jade Sheldon of Soldiers Grove; two grandkids, Tyson (Megan Van Treese) Sheldon of Tomah and Treyvin Sheldon of Solders Grove; two great grandkids, Everleigh and Brynlee Sheldon; two sisters, Elizabeth Roberts of La Farge and Cindy Dodge of Chesapeake, VA; four brothers:  William (Cheryl) Wilder of Coloma, Jim Wilder of La Farge, George (Donna) Wilder of La Farge, and Dale (Kim) Wilder of Owatonna, MN; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin Wesley Wilder of Viola and Fern Louise Wilder of La Farge.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Redemption Chapel with Pastor George Shick officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Burial will take place in the Viroqua Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
