Constance "Connie" Jean Stach

Constance “Connie” Jean Stach, 83, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024 at Creamery Creek Senior Living in Stoddard, WI. She was born in Arcadia, WI on December 5th, 1941 to Goodwin and Genevieve Gilbertson.

Connie wed her beloved husband, James “Jim” Stach, of 51 years, on Sept. 26th, 1959. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and kind soul whose generosity knew no bounds. Connie found pleasure in cooking and gardening, filling much of her yard with beautiful flowers and plants. She enjoyed the ocean, traveling to Florida several times with her husband. She loved spending time with her beloved dog, Daisy, who kept her on her toes. Connie was known for her strong will, determination, and love and support for her family. Throughout her life, she devoted much of her time to her children and grandchildren who will carry on fond memories of her. Connie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace.

She is survived by her children, Kristine (Rick) Barger, Theresa (Don) Foley, James Stach Jr., Robert Stach, Janelle (Mark) Bell, Heidi Stach, and Jeremy Stach, all of La Crosse; 26 grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Jordan, Joey, Jacob, Lucas, Vincent, Teara, Sarah, Cassie, Alex, Jon, Maddie, Austin, Devin, Liam, Collin, Savanah, Jaden, Hayley, Adrianna, Tyann, Bella, James, Bobbie Jo, and Anna; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Beverly and Mary.

She was preceded in joining the Lord by: her husband, James; her parents; two daughters, Debra and Tammy; one son, James; two grandchildren, Jessica and Zach; and one brother, Wayne.

Connie's family would like to express gratitude for all of the extraordinary caring staff at Creamery Creek Senior Living in Stoddard, for the exceptional care she received throughout the time she was with them.

A private family service will be held to celebrate her life in her memory.
