Darryl Richard Manka age 75 of Wilton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 16, 1949, in Oak Creek Wisconsin was born into eternal life on November 29, 2025. He suffered from Frontotemporal/Alzheimer's and fought it to the very end. He was a caring and loving father, foster and adoption father, husband and friend.
Darryl is survived by his wife, Ann Manka nee Lomis, his children Caitlin Manka of Lacrosse, Timothy Manka of Marshfield, Nicholas Manka of Lacrosse, Nolan and Emily Manka, grandchildren, Adam, Carson and Mallory Manka. He preceded in death by his twin daughters, Tracy and Tressa, father Roy Manka of Cudahy, mother, Mary Manka of Cudahy and Rick Manka his brother of Cudahy. Darryl loved old cars and trucks, fishing and hunting and just plain old tinkering with anything he could find. As a child he would take apart his parents alarm clocks and his mother's toaster just to see if he could put them back together again He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of life followed by burial in the family plot at Holy Sepulcher cemetery in Cudahy will be in the Spring as two of Darryls children are in wheelchairs. Arrangements will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Emplify Health Hospice team for all of their assistance, support and kind words during the most difficult ordeal of our lives. We could never thank enough all of the nurses, aides, social worker and chaplain. A very special thank you goes out to Alli who was Darryl's aide for helping Darryl with things I could not. He called you sweetheart more than he called me for a reason. You are absolutely THE BEST!!!
