Dennis and Cheryl purchased Scenic View Cabins in 1982 relocating from Liberty Pole to De Soto.
Dennis enjoyed deer hunting in Wisconsin and elk hunting in Colorado. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time in Bloomer, WI where he and his wife Cheryl owned a cabin on Marshmiller Lake and loved to fish. Dennis owned many collectibles over the years. Most notably was his 69’ 442 Oldsmobile. In recent years he enjoyed going on UTV rides in his Polaris that he called “Leo.” Dennis was a lifelong member of Liberty Pole Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughters Angela Karwoski and Lacey Zitzner (Lucas Cole); grandchildren: Isaiah Zitzner, Nola Karwoski, Aida Karwoski, Romeo Barnes, and Bella Barnes; sister Diane (Jerry) DeLap; sisters-in-law: Ruthie Lepke, Miny Hirschfield (Jack Kappler), and Irene Zitzner; and pup Leona.
