Doreen B. Turner

Doreen B. Turner, 97, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at Soldiers Grove Health Services.

Doreen lived a long, vibrant life filled with love, joy, and an enduring passion for the simple pleasures that made her special.  She will be lovingly remembered for her boundless energy, her love of swimming, and the warmth she brought into every room - often accompanied by the sweet smell of something she was baking.  Whether she was reading a good book or dancing her heart out, Doreen lived life with a sparkle in her eye and kindness in her heart.

She is survived by her devoted daughter Edna (Larry) Groom; grandchildren Jon, Cindy, and Joe; great-grandchildren Marco, Elena, Brandon, Curin, Heaven, Harmony, Stephen, and Gabriel; as well as many cherished great-great-grandchildren who carry on her legacy of love, strength, and joy.

Doreen was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Turner; son Keith Turner; granddaughters Jessica Harp and Lisa Esparza; and great-grandson Kyle Turner.

Doreen's spirit, laughter, and gentle heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial luncheon to celebrate Doreen's life will be held on August 2nd from 1pm-3pm at the old community building in Gays Mills, Wisconsin (212 Main St.). All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and share in remembering the beautiful life she lived.
