Ellen Lynn Unseth

Ellen Unseth went to be with her Lord and Savior  who purchased and redeemed her with his holy and precious blood on October 10th, 2022.

For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us! (Romans, 8:18)

She was born to John Jr and Eloise (Getter) Eide, December 30th, 1947, the eldest of four daughters.

Even when we were dead in sins God hath quickened us together in Christ by Grace you are saved and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:5,6)

She is survived by the members of the body of Christ, past and present, of the Franklin Lutheran Church. She is also survived by her husband, Arden Unseth; children: Stephanie Unseth, Bjorn (Sharde) Unseth; grandchildren: Aiden, Camden, Anders (Tonia) Unseth, Henning and Hazel;  three sisters: Joyce Mithum Benson, Janet (John) Reed, and Kimberly Stillwell; one sister-in-law Joann Unseth; special friend, Ann Maiers; Aunt Sharon (Jim) Staniforth, Uncle Richard Larson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceding her in the separation of the body and spirit are her parents, three brothers-in-law: Ron Unseth, Truman Unseth, and Jeff Stillwell; and one sister-in-law, Mary Unseth.

(Jesus speaking) “Verily verily I say unto you except a corn of wheat fall into the ground, it abidth alone but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." (John 12:24)

We would like to thank the many St. Croix Hospice caretakers who worked diligently over the past few weeks to attend to Ellen’s needs.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8,9)

Blessed be the memory of Ellen Unseth as she has acquired a heavenly citizenship through the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The family will be holding a Memorial Service at Franklin Lutheran Church on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  Reverend Jeanett Thorp will be officiating.  A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

The Roth Family Cremation Center is assisting the family.
