Faye Weber, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Bethel Oaks Memory Care with family by her side.
Faye was born May 18, 1934, to Earl and Theo (Sneath) Nelson. On October 26, 1954, she married Orvis Weber in Galena, IL. They were blessed with 67 years of marriage. Faye enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all whom she loved dearly. In her early days she spent time camping, going to tractor and car shows, and polka dancing. Faye was a faithful and active member of Viroqua Church of Christ until her health no longer permitted.
Faye is survived by her husband; daughters, Bonnie Hemmersbach and Barb Ripley; son Ken (Svetlana Amaker) Weber; sisters: Merle Sagler, Evie Tomten, and Janet Zielke; grandchildren: Breanna (Jed) Lathrop, Justin (Melissa) Bolstad, Jenna (Shane) McNamara, and Justin Amaker; great grandchildren: Paxley Lathrop, Cadi Johnson, Claire McNamara, Harlow Bolstad, and Hyatt Bolstad.
She was preceded in death by sons-in-law, Tony Hemmersbach and Larry Ripley; sisters, Dorothy (Carlyle) Springer and Vivian (Leo) Vaade; brother Earl (Mary) Nelson Jr; brothers-in-law: Marvin Sagler, Tony Tomten, and Daniel Zielke.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Viroqua Church of Christ with pastor Andrew Pratt officiating. A visitation will be held at noon until time of the service. A private inurnment will take place at the Viroqua Cemetery.
Family is requesting that there be no memorials.
