George Dean Robson

George Dean Robson, 89, of Viroqua passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, in Liberty Pole, WI.  

He was born April 13, 1936, to Chester and Ida Robson. He married Donna Owen on February 16, 1957.

George collected many antiques such as guns, tools, and tractors while traveling the area looking for treasures. He loved to share his skill of cleaning antique tools and making them functional again. He also enjoyed coon hunting, going to antique engine shows, and flea marketing. George enjoyed visits with his family and neighbors.

He is survived by his three daughters:  Brenda (Dave) Dank, April Zube, Pam (David) Kelly; grandchildren: Chris (Jennifer), Serenity (Trent), Angela (Jaime), Dawn (Adam) Hanson, Amber Crum, Jed (Monique), Miah (Brooke), and Ethan (Jackie); brother Wayne (Barb) Robson; cousin MaryAnne Wheeler; many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his wife Donna; parents Chester and Ida Robson; infant sister Diane; infant son Gary; brother Gordon (Geri) Robson; son-in-law Bradley Zube; grandson Brandon Jamesson; infant grandson Jeremy Jamesson.

Family would like to thank Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services, Moments Hospice Care, and VMH staff.

In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to a charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 2, 2026, with a private family burial at Liberty Pole Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Luncheon to follow at the Liberty Pole Methodist Church from 2-4 PM.
