Gerald White Obituary
Gerald Thomas “Gary” White of Prairie du Chien, WI, died expectedly, December 23, 2025 with his son and a chaplain by his side. Gary was born November 25, 1941 to James J and Mae (Kramer) White. He graduated in 1959 from PDC High School and joined the US Navy.
Gary was united in marriage to Patricia “Pat” McGinley, October 15th, 1966 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church of Prairie du Chien.
He worked for several years at Quality Wood and more recently at White Insurance. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, he enjoyed a terrible joke and an occasional Pabst Blue Ribbon.
He is survived by his only son, Gerald Thomas “Gary” White of Prairie du Chien, brother James F. White, Sisters-in-law Judy McGinley and Nancy McGinley, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, wife, and siblings-Bill, Don, Raymond, Laura, John, Paul, and Aloysius. Sisters in law Dorothy, Ruth and Patricia. Brothers in law Leo, Dan, and Paul.
A celebration of life will take place in the spring of 2026.
