Gladys Wallin Obituary
Gladys E. Wallin, age 78, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home in Viroqua.
Gladys was born in Prairie du Chien, WI on February 5, 1944, to Kenneth and Floy Davidson. She married Duane Wallin on April 10, 1964. Together they enjoyed 58 wonderful years.
Duane and Gladys farmed for many years and then moved to town and created a beautiful home full of flowers and gorgeous landscaping. Gladys ran a daycare for 22 years and helped raise many, many children. Her hobbies included: canning, quilting, gardening, crafting, spending time with her dog, Missy, playing cards, and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Duane; her favorite guard dog, Missy; 2 brothers, Roy (Wanda) Davidson and Kenny (Sandy) Davidson; 2 sisters, Florence Gander and Floy (Bill) Boland; sister-in-law, Margaret Davidson; brother-in-law, Don (Jean) Wallin; and sister-in-law, Helen Kauppi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Floy Davidson; brother, Tom Davidson; and brother-in-law, Ronald Gander.
Per Gladys’ request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice, in Gladys’ name.
The Roth Family Cremation Center is assisting the family.
