James Harris Obituary
James “Jim” P. Harris of La Farge passed away Monday, August 31, 2026, at Norseland Nursing Home in Westby, WI.
He was born in Richland Center, WI on January 10, 1939, to Paul and Dollie (Shird) Harris.
Jim worked various jobs throughout his life, including American Motors, Badger Ordinance Works, Egge Movers, Village of La Farge and retired from the Vernon County Highway Department. He was also in the Army and served during peace time in Korea.
Jim and Suzanne (Muller) were married March 5, 1961. Jim is survived by Suzanne; children: Benjamin Harris, Mindy (Mark) Campbell, and Paul Harris; grandchildren Lauren (Jess) Kelly, Julia (Vince) Blom, Evan (Rianna Oliver) Campbell, Matthew Harris, Kendall Harris, Alexis Harris, Paige Harris; and one great-grandson Cooper Blom. He is also survived by three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, and two brothers-in-law.
The family thanks Norseland Nursing Home and St. Croix Hospice for the care provided to Jim.
No services are planned at this time.
