Jeanette Heitmann Obituary

Jeannette Heitmann, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2020 at Vernon Manor Nursing Home in Viroqua.

She was born on November 23, 1932 to Charles and Dora (Perron) Bartow.  She married Paul Heitmann on February 12, 1955 at St. Patrick’s Church in Racine, WI.

Jeannette’s interests included going to movies with her dear friend April, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and watching her favorite shows on TV.  She was known for teasing her nurses and the staff at Vernon Manor.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her 6 children, daughters: Georgia (Mark) Salamon of Oregon, WI, Becky (Keven) Hooker of Viola, WI, and Carol Leger of Deltona, FL; sons:  Ken (Paula) Heitmann of Racine, WI, John (Michelle) Heitmann of LaFarge, WI, and Michael (Mary) Heitmann of Paradise Valley, AZ; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; mother, Dora; father, Charles; brothers, Donald and Leonard; and sister, Elaine.
