Jenese Louise Primmer, 86, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at home in Holmen, WI, surrounded by family.
She was born on August 21, 1939, to Alvin and Mabel Emmert. On May 16, 1959, she married Loren H. Primmer at Mount Calvary Church in Janesville, WI.
Jenese enjoyed Bingo, time at the Casino, Diamond Art, and making/building puzzles. She had a love of baseball, especially the Brewers and greatly enjoyed attending Logger games. She loved to watch her grandkids play baseball as well as soccer.
She worked at Lakeway Grocery store in Kenosha, Nestle Chocolate Factory in Burlington, and Sara Lee Bakery in Illinois. It was in Illinois that she met Jerry Lewis when he toured the factory.
After retiring, Loren and Jenese would work at the campgrounds they visited in Florida and Wyoming. She belonged to the Eagles Club in Viroqua and even did some quilting for a little while.
She is survived by 4 children: Debbie (Waldo) Gonzalez of Holmen, Laurie (Mark) Johnson of Holmen, Delores (Bill) Vollmer of Marshall, Texas, and Mike (Pam) Primmer of Kenosha; 12 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren H. Primmer and a grandson, Jason Loren McCoy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services with Pastor Eddie Eddy officiating and a special tribute by Viroqua Eagles 2707 Auxiliary. A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until time of service.
