Joyce Austin Obituary
Joyce Mae Austin, 90, of Viroqua passed away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
She was born October 30, 1935, to George Wesley and Goldie Marie Keys. Joyce married John Austin on October 31, 1953, at Fond du Lac, WI.
She enjoyed gardening, helping raise grandchildren, crafting, decorating her home for every season, as well as collecting things. Joyce was an exceptional cook and a terrific mother that didn’t stop with her own children, she “mothered” everyone who needed help.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Austin and Dawn Rocklewitz (Keith); granddaughters: Jackie Browning, Caroline Carter, Kayla Schug (Kyle); great grandchildren: Louie Browning, Austin Riel, Michael Mundt, Cloey Mundt, and Hixtin Schug; and sister Audrey Hencke.
Joyce was preceded in death by husband, John; parents, Goldie and George Keys; siblings: Marge Worzala, Katie Broberg, Charles (Bud) Keys, and Jim Keys.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to Moments Hospice nurse Benji and CNA Amber.
Per Joyce's wishes there be no formal services held.
Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services is assisting the family.
