Judy was born on August 7, 1941, to Clifford and Barbara McCumber. She married the love of her life, Alvin F. Larson, on August 25, 1970.
Judy was a hardworking woman who took great pride in her work throughout the years. She worked at Freeman Shoe Company, was a machine operator for Hanson Equipment Co., drove semi-truck for Swing-N-Slide, and later worked as a finaler at Stoughton Trailers before retiring.
Judy loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for morel mushroom hunting and found great joy working in her flower beds and vegetable garden. She dearly loved her horses and enjoyed riding the wagon trains and trails with friends. During the summer months, she loved fishing on the Mississippi River, and in the fall, she enjoyed hunting deer, rabbits, squirrels, and pheasants.
When she wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, Judy loved putting together puzzles, doing crafts, and making birdhouses. On Friday nights, she was often found at the Union Tavern enjoying the meat raffles, good friends, and a few spirits and beers. She treasured the simple things in life and created countless memories with those she loved.
Judy is survived by her three children: Danny (Jody) O’Grady, Timothy (Sherry) O’Grady, and Brian (Teresa) Larson. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren: Jessica Hatch, Jeremy Cooper, Erin Mericle, Katie Howes, Tim O’Grady Jr., Patrick O’Grady, Amanda Goble, Mackenzy O’Grady, Katelyn Stokke, Mylissa Stokke, and Jessica Stokke; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sharon McCumber; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
