Kenneth Reed Terwilliger, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home on April 10th, 2022, after complications following a recent medical diagnosis. Kenny was born on August 12, 1961, at Vernon Memorial Hospital to Jim and Sharon Terwilliger.
Kenny graduated from Viroqua High School in 1979 and began work as a meat cutter first at D&W Meats and then at Super Value. He went on to work many years at Sherry Construction.
Kenny's favorite days were spent out on a boat at the family cabin in Mercer, WI, fishing for muskies. He was a master gardener and enjoyed cooking. He spent many hours in his shop working on cars and entertaining friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his daughter Karmin (Alex) Pincus; his girlfriend of 30 years Kathy Hill; her daughter Alisha (Don) Coughlin; grandchildren Ethan, Lillian, and Samuel (Pincus), Vada and Anakin (Coughlin), and Taylor and Collin (Hill); his brother Kevin (Joann) Terwilliger of North Dakota; his sisters Tracy Clancy of Viroqua, Terri (Patrick) McGuire also of Viroqua; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Jim, mother Sharon, grandparents Reginald James "R.J." and Ardele Terwilliger, and Orlando and Edna Bluske.
Thank you to the Neighborhood Clinic for all their help and support during Kenny's treatments and thank you for the many acts of kindness over the past several weeks from his friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Believer's Fellowship Church, 804 South Main St., Viroqua, with burial to follow at the Viroqua Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, at the church from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
The family would like to invite all who knew Kenny to join them, following the service, at the VFW Banquet Room on Saturday, April 16th from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. to celebrate in his memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
