Kristopher Rollin Johnson, 43, of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 9, 2023. Kris was born June 13, 1980 in Viroqua, WI where he spent his childhood and high school years. He lived in Georgia for 20 years where he worked as a Commercial Construction Superintendent and met the love of his life Jennifer Courtney.
Kris was loved by everyone he met and left a lasting impression on them. He was kind, loving, funny, a one-of-a kind human who always wanted to make everyone happy and helped people endlessly. Kris loved and admired his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents Rollin & Sandra (Lake) Johnson; brother Matt (Cindy); sister Shea Johnson-Zielke; niece Kaylee Zielke; and his beloved girlfriend Jennifer Courtney.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 28 from 4-7pm at Gassers in Viroqua.
Kris once wrote “The clouds are like me, floating around like a free minded careless fellow”. This is how we will remember him. Loving him and missing him dearly.
