Larry Francis Cina

Larry Francis Cina, age 82, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 22, 2026.  He was born June 21, 1943 to Joseph and Ernabelle (Carmack) Cina.  Following his graduation from Aquinas High School in 1961 he served in the Army for 2 years.  Larry met Lila Breeser (the love of his life of 57 years) of New Albin, IA and they married May 10, 1968.  Larry was a devout Christian and follower of Jesus and his faith was a priority in his life along with his loving family which he cherished dearly.  He was a friend to all who knew and loved him.  Larry worked at Genoa Dock Corporation and then Dairyland Power in Genoa, WI for 37 years. In his retirement Larry enjoyed being outdoors with his hunting buddies, and his daily morning coffee crew outings.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Lila; 4 children: Todd (Amy) Cina of Oregon, WI; Troy Cina of Mindoro, WI; Trevor (Judy) Cina of Viroqua, WI; Terry Cina of Viroqua, Wi; 6 grandchildren: Jarrett, Lexi (Zach), Amber (Hunter), Tyler (Teresa), Brooke (Lukas), and Jeremiah;  6 great-grandchildren: Carson, Grayson, Axton, Katelyn, Konner, Keundra;  siblings; Jerry (Paula) Cina, DeSoto; Mary Jo Roof, Dubuque, IA; Valencia Cina, Viroqua; Nancy (Mike Sherbune) Cina, Topeka, KS; Charles “Pat” (Candy) Cina, Genoa; Ann (Karl) Peterson, Genoa; Amy Cina, La Crosse; Joe Cina (Kathy Clark), Westby; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janie, an infant brother, grandchild Casey, sister-in-law Vicki, and nephew John Cina.

The family is grateful to the Viroqua and Westby First responders and Paramedics, Vernon Memorial Healthcare staff, Gundersen hospital staff for their attentive support and care.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at; Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 400 Congress Avenue, Viroqua, WI 54665 at 11am on Saturday, January 31st.  Father Joe Richards will officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church starting at 9am until the time of the mass on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.
