Together, they moved the business to Prairie du Chien, working side by side for many years until Larry’s health began to decline. Over their 35 years in professional photography, Larry and Deb captured countless cherished moments, specializing in weddings, family portraits, senior portraits, pets, wildlife and scenic photography. Larry’s exceptional talent and attention to detail earned him numerous awards, highlighting his keen eye, dedication to his craft.
Beyond photography, Larry found great joy in the outdoors, particularly deer hunting and fishing. Known for his iconic phrase, “Just one more cast,” Larry’s fishing trips often lasted until darkness fell. His passion for nature was also evident in his wildlife photography, where his camera was as much a part of his outdoor adventures as his hunting gear.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his two sons, Eric (Lisa) and Josh (Betsy); his four grandsons, Dylan (Sierra), Joe (Maddy), Kaden, and Braxton; and two great-grandchildren, Oakley and Quinn. He is also survived by his first wife and dear friend, Joan Halverson, and his stepbrother, Truman Anderson.
