Laura Tryggestad Obituary
Laura Jean Tryggestad, 71, of Viroqua passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at her home.
She was born May 29, 1954, to Art and Bev (Wolff) Lundell. She married David Tryggestad on November 1, 1975, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Viroqua.
Laura was passionate about a lot of things in life. She especially loved creating artwork, specifically photo albums which we will forever cherish. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband David and her four grandchildren, who she loved with all of her heart. Laura will be forever loved and missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband David; daughters, Amy (Jason) Hanson and Anne Brownlee; grandchildren: Aidyn and Emma Brownlee and Kait and Collin Hanson; and sister Nancy (AK) Lallas.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Bev Lundell and in-laws Roger and Lois Tryggestad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to the Driftless Humane Society www.driftlesshumanesociety.com.
In honoring Laura’s wishes, there will be no services held.
Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services is assisting the family.
