Lila Ann Morrison, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI.
She was born on January 19, 1941, to William and Marie Benson. On March 12, 1960, she married Clair Morrison at the United Methodist Church in Viroqua.
Lila enjoyed a life filled with crafting, antiquing, reading, playing cards, gardening, canning, and preserving. She loved family celebrations, holiday get-togethers, and cooking meals for her loved ones. Known for being bold, outgoing, and with a touch of sass, she brought warmth and personality to everything she did.
Her career included working at the library and hospital, and she was a beloved business owner of Lamb’s Ear in Viroqua for many years. She was actively involved in the community as a member of the Lions Club and served as an Alderman for the City of Viroqua.
Lila is survived by her husband, Clair; her children, Connie Smith, Dennis (Cindy) Morrison, Kevin (Linda) Morrison; grandchildren, Jessica (Olson) Ezelle, and Annmarie Morrison; her great-grandchildren, Chasity and Gunner Ezelle; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; her sister, Cindy Lindvig; brother-in-law, Norman Morrison (Zelda); and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marie Benson; her son, Butch Morrison; her sister, Hope Sisbach; sisters-in-law, Jane Kolstad and Joan Morkrid; brother-in-law, Mike Fish; and her in-laws, Florence and Clair Morrison.
The family extends their sincere thanks to Vernon Manor for the compassionate care they provided to Lila in her final years.
