Maren Melby

Maren Melby, 84, of Westby Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, at Gunderson Hospital in La Crosse. She was born Jan 1st, 1937 to Burton and Vivian Bergum.

She married Howard Melby in 1956 and had 2 sons.

She is survived by sons, Rick and Brian; daughter-in-law Kathy Pickett; sisters, Linda Sires and Judy Dirienzo; grandson Kyle and wife Amy; granddaughter Lucy Pickett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard; brother Peter; sister Sandra; and daughter-in-law Mary Anne.

Maren was a loving and generous wife, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, and neighbor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Time of Remembrance will be held by the family from 4 to 6 pm, Tuesday December 7th, in the Our Saviors Lutheran chapel. The family welcomes donations to the Bethel Butikk Food Pantry and Thrift Shop as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
