Maynard E. Wedwick passed peacefully in his sleep, January 24, 2022. He was 85 years old. Born September 30, 1936, he was raised on a farm in Viroqua. He was a utility lineman until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the National Guards, loved going to auctions, and was involved with the Vernon County Fair for many years. After he retired, he and his devoted wife of 26 years wintered in warm weather. He enjoyed traveling to see new things. Maynard was incredibly kind and would lend a hand to anyone. He had so much love to give. His smile, blue eyes, and sense of humor will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; brother, Raymond; sons, Bradley (Annette) and Craig (Roxy); daughters: Lisa Antony, Tammi (Karl) Yanzer, and Tracee Farmer; 5 grandkids; 9 great grandkids; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Lois; son, Kurt; sister-in-law, Marilyn Wedwick; and grandson, Justin.
