Pamela J. Lackey, 73, passed away on June 3, 2022, at her home in Soldiers Grove in the company of her family and her best friend Max (her dog), after a long battle with cancer.
Pam was born in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, to Donald and Doris (Pratt) Healy. Pam attended Elkland Junior/Senior High School in Pennsylvania. Pam moved to Wisconsin when she married George Lackey. They owned and operated Romance Tavern for years. She belonged to the Local 139 Operators Union where she worked for Payne and Dolan and James and Sons as an Equipment Operator. She retired from Walgreens as a truck dispatcher.
Pam was an avid book reader. She enjoyed gambling and the love of her life, her dog Max.
Pam is survived by her children, Paul Lackey (Mount Horeb), Craig Lackey (Soldiers Grove), and Diane (Butch) Olson, (Gays Mills); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Yvonne Olander, (Binghamton, NY); one niece; one nephew; extended stepchildren; and her best friend Max.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donnie; her son Brian; a niece, Terry Dawn; and one nephew, Jeff.
Per Pam‘s wishes, there will be no services.
The Roth Family Cremation Center is serving the family.
