Randy G. White

Randy White, age 73, of Boscobel made his peaceful journey home on August 22, 2023, with his wife and daughters by his side.

He was born on August 27, 1949, the son of Ervin and Arlene (Hill) White, in Prairie du Chien WI. Born the 5th of 6 children, and raised on a farm near Wauzeka, he learned how to work hard, and had many fond memories of farm life and his family’s loving home. In 1969, while cruising through Eastman, Virginia Guernsey caught his eye, and they became inseparable. They married in January of 1971. He continued to farm, and worked for Herb Turner and Sons in Boscobel until 1981, when Randy and Virginia, along with their two girls, moved to Boscobel, where Randy worked at the feed mill. He enjoyed working with all of the local farmers and sharing stories with customers and coworkers. Before he retired, he also worked for Iverson Construction and Reynolds Brothers Excavating. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be forever remembered for his sense of humor.

Randy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia; two daughters, Joni White (Shane Page) of Gillette, and Juli (Devin) Updike of Boscobel; a grandson, Mikael Smith; three step granddaughters: Briette Updike, Brelynn (Sam) Burzynski, and Grace Updike; Brother Dennis (Sandy) White and sister Cindy (Denny) Jelinek, both of Prairie du Chein.  

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, father in law and mother in law; John and Ruth Guernsey; and brothers: Bob, Jerry, and Ed.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1 to 5 P.M. at the Tuffley Community Center in Boscobel. Burial will be at a later date.

Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services is assisting the family.
