Rev. William "Bill" Lloyd, Jr

Rev. William (Bill) E. Lloyd, Jr, 84, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, in Viroqua, Wisconsin. He was born on November 13, 1941, to William and Betty Lloyd. He married Joyce Joslyn Page on November 19, 1960, in Leeds, Maine.

Bill graduated from Livermore Falls High School and attended Baptist Bible Seminary. He worked at International Paper Company in Jay, Maine, and in Ticonderoga, New York. He retired from Huhtamaki Corporation in Waterville, Maine. Thru the years Bill pastored many churches in Maine and Pennsylvania, including East Dixfield Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, Shawmut Chapel, Acre Lake Baptist Church, Grace Baptist (Seneca, PA), Cornerstone Baptist Church, as well as filling the pulpit as needed everywhere they lived thru the years, even after his retirement.

Bill enjoyed theological discussions with family, friends, and those he met sharing his love for Jesus with anyone that would listen. The love of his life and wife, Joyce, lovingly cared for Bill these past few years. They celebrated their 65th anniversary just weeks before his death. Together they raised four children and welcomed 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce, Viroqua, Wisconsin, their children Debbie (Doug) Aloisi, Viroqua, David (Linda) Lloyd, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, and Peter (Kimberly) Lloyd, Wilton, Maine; 14 grandchildren (Joshua Aloisi, Allison Kjormoe, Bethany Richardson, Kate Schreier, Caleb Aloisi, Olivia Caylor, Chris Caylor, Mary Elizabeth Risitano, Madeleine Lloyd, Ameilia Hackett, Lexi Rains, Tyler Poisson, Zach Poisson and Lily Huntley);19 great grandchildren; and his brother Richard (Liz) Lloyd. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Judy Caylor.

A Memorial Service will be held by family at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Viroqua, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
