Rick Krattiger

Rick Krattiger, born on August 20, 1952, and passed away on January 14, 2024.

Rick died of complications of lung cancer. However, his death was quick and unexpected. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. Rick had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and downhill skiing. He was also a skilled craftsman, specializing in woodworking and making leather goods. Rick's kind and caring personality had a profound impact on the community of Mount Horeb. He touched the lives of many people over the years with his acts of kindness and generosity. Rick's enthusiasm for being a grandpa brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent with his grandson, Ardea.

Rick is survived by his wife, Sue; his daughter, Heidi; his grandson, Ardea; and his sisters: Beth, Julie, and Karen.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Family will host a celebration of life for him in the late spring, details will be posted here by March or contact Heidi.
