Roger Perkins Obituary
Roger La’ Verne Perkins, 70, of Readstown, WI died Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Soldiers Grove, WI. He was born in Richland Center, September 4, 1952, to Gerald and Anita (Faith) Perkins. Roger resided in Readstown, WI. Roger was a former truck driver for Silverline Trucking Co. Lancing, IL, a cheesemaker for 30 years, and served in the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Edwards) Perkins; mother, Anita (Faith) Perkins of Soldiers Grove, WI; 2 daughters, Jessica (Robert) Drake of Moline, IL and Sarah Perkins Stricker of La Crosse, WI; son, Caleb Perkins of Wonderlake, IL; 3 sisters: Linda (Gerald) Oliver of Readstown, WI, Carole McCauley of Viola, WI, and Mona (David) Mowris of La Crosse, WI; 2 brothers, Richard Perkins of Masa, AZ and Garry Perkins of Hub City, WI; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Gerald L. Perkins; son, Jerry L. Perkins; and granddaughter Kallie L. Drake.
Roger was loved by ALL and will be missed deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services is assisting the family.
