Ronald Riggs Obituary
Ronald D. Riggs, 91, of Mt. Zion, WI died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, April 24, 2023, in his home.
Ronald was born to Royal and Lillian Riggs in 1931. He grew up on a farm near Seneca and had great memories of riding his pony to school. After graduation Ron enlisted in the army and served in the Korean war for a year.
Ron was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He hauled everything from cars to refrigerated food. He loved to garden and restore antique cars. His favorite model was the Studebaker.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Lori and Rhonda; and a son Russell.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Mary (Fenton); brother Royce (Linda) Riggs; three children: Connie (Dale) McCullick, Shan Riggs, and Marcy (Stoney) Lawson; four step children: Steve Mullikin, Bryan Mullikin, Lori Anderson, and Terry Mullikin; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family is having a private ceremony.
Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Service is assisting the family.
