Scott T. Gibbs

Scott Gibbs, 43, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Soldiers Grove Health Services.

Scott was born in Lansing, Iowa, on March 3, 1983, to Gary Sr. Gibbs and Gina Ashbacher. He graduated from Kee High School in 2002.

Scott worked at MPC in Prairie du Chien alongside family and later worked at Agristar in Postville. He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands. He had a passion for mechanical work, carpentry, construction, electrical work, and was always willing to take on a project and figure out how to make things work and he was always willing to give a helping hand. For those of you who knew Scott, you knew his dedication to working out and lifting weights. During his workout routines with friends he was known for always pushing you to do better. 

Scott is survived by his mother, Gina Ashbacher; his children, sons Xavier Gibbs and Alexander Gibbs, and daughters Gracie Gibbs and Abby Gibbs; and his brothers, Dan Gibbs (Tammy), Derrick Gibbs, Gary Jr. Gibbs, and Brett Gibbs (April), along with his extended family and loved ones.

Scott will be deeply missed by his children, family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family is holding a memorial service on Saturday, September 12, at 1:00 p.m. at The Wooden Nickel in Ferryville, Wisconsin. Family and friends are welcome to gather together to celebrate Scott's life and share memories.
