Steven Eugene Engh, 72, passed away unexpectedly due to medical complications on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his home farm in Viroqua.
He was born December 18, 1953, to Eugene and Maebelle (Buros) Engh. He graduated from Viroqua High School in 1972. Steven married Linda Sue Stitch on April 24, 1976. They were married for over 30 years until later divorcing.
Steven was a dedicated employee of Nelson Muffler for 40 plus years where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed farming, tractor pulling, and watching his grandson’s play sports and pull tractors. After retirement he enjoyed working for David Abt on his farm. Steven enjoyed farming and raising animals at his home farm as well.
He is survived by his son Shawn (Phoebe) Engh; daughter Tami (Eric) Stoker; son Jerry Inman; grandchildren: Axel, Wyatt, and Henry Engh, Taylor (Shannon) Williams, Alex Saleska, Patricia Inman, Amanda Inman, Noah (Taylor) Inman, Steven Inman; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Carolyn (Duane) Ellefson and Daniel (Penny) Engh; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Linda Engh; grandparents, Norman and Alice Engh and Paul and Helen Buros.
Family will be holding a Celebration of Life at the Eagles Club in Viroqua on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4 PM- 7 PM.
