Tamara "Tammy" A. Oliver

Tamara “Tammy” A. Oliver, age 52, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023, at her home in Westby, surrounded by family.  Tammy was born on July 8, 1971, and graduated from Westby High School in 1989.  On July 20, 1989, she married the love of her life, Burton W. Oliver. 

Tammy enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, painting her nails, bargain shopping, margaritas, and bullshitting with her friends.  Tammy’s skilled hands tended her flowers and vegetables.  In the spring and summer, she would spend hours at the Amish greenhouses patiently choosing the perfect plants and bartering to get the best deal. 

Tammy is survived by her husband, Burton, sidekick Teddy, and her father, Mike Dyer, as well as many family and friends who all meant the world to her.   

It takes an Army to care for a loved one during their time of need.  The family wishes to extend a thank you to Tammy’s medical support team, her amazing hospice team, and her family and friends who assisted in her care. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. at the Roth Family Cremation Center. 

A Celebration of Life Luncheon for Tammy Oliver and her father-in-law Larry Oliver will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. at the Coon Valley Park - Shelter #3, Coon Valley, WI 54623.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
