In Loving Memory of Thomas "Tom" Frey

Thomas "Tom" Frey, age 79, passed away on December 21, 2023, in Muscoda, Wisconsin. Born on October 3, 1944, in Geneva, Wisconsin, to Severin and Marian (Blattner) Frey, Tom spent his formative years on the family farm, cultivating a strong work ethic and a love for the land.

Tom dedicated a significant part of his life to the field of maintenance. Later, he became the proud owner of a bar in Iowa, where he created cherished memories and fostered a sense of community among patrons. Beyond his professional pursuits, Tom had a passion for collecting model trains, a hobby that brought him immense joy and allowed him to express his creative side. He also found great pleasure in engaging in spirited games of dominos with his friends and pursuing the tranquility of fishing, relishing the moments spent by the water. Tom was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12183 of Seneca, Wisconsin. In his later years, Tom chose to retire in Wauzeka and subsequently relocated to Prairie du Chien.

Tom is survived by his brother James; sister Barbara Torcnia; nieces, Robin Last and Michelle Loberg; and several nephews and stepchildren. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Severin and Marian; his brother John; nephew Jay, who await him in eternity. May he rest in peace.

A mass in celebration of Tom’s life will take place at Sacred Heart Church in Wauzeka on January 12th, 2024, at 10:00am.
