Torsten Christian Henrikson, 20, of Viroqua passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Delafield, Wisconsin. He was born November 13, 2005, in La Crosse, WI, to Mike Henrikson and Leslie Getter-Henrikson.
Torsten was currently working as an independent commercial tile layer/flooring contractor. He was a bright kid, who was compassionate and never afraid to speak his mind. If something mattered to him you knew it. That honesty and openness was part of what made him so unforgettable. He cared deeply about people and he lived with a kind of intensity that made every moment feel important. Torsten loved art, music, hunting, and adventure. He wasn't someone who wanted to just watch life happen; he wanted to be a part of it. Whether it was exploring the outdoors, sharing a song, or chasing the experience, he lived with that spirit that pushed him to see more and do more. From the very beginning he brought light energy and curiosity to the lives of everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Mike Henrikson and Leslie Getter-Henrikson; sister Anna; girlfriend Jayden Derrick and her parents Rachel Butzer and Ben McGovern; grandmother Christy Reed and partner Bob Bolstad; grandfather Roger (Jackie) Getter; aunt Jessica (Chris) Huschka and their two daughters, Kylie and Allie; great grandmother Gerry Ellefson; uncle Thor (Mary Jane) Henrikson and their two children Mary Kate and Trygve; uncle Mark Henrikson and partner Julie Cavanaugh; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Torsten Henrikson; great grandfather Paul Ellefson; and great grandparents, Atley & Janie Fortney and Norman & Donna Getter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM with a luncheon to follow.
