William Aasen Obituary
William H. Aasen, 82, passed away on December 9, 2024, at his home in Viroqua.
He was born on December 24, 1941, to William and Florence Aasen. On August 4, 1962, he married Janet Halverson in Viroqua, WI. Bill worked in Illinois for Ericksons from 1966 until he retired in 2004. He enjoyed Canada trips fishing, and taking grandchildren and great-grandchildren fishing. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers play, NASCAR racing, and reading Louie Lamore books.
He is survived by his wife Janet Aasen; daughter Marsha Aasen; son Scott (Jodene) Aasen; grandchildren: Tabitha Dustin, Bobi Jo Hirschfield, Melissa Garcia, Todd Aasen; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Ken (Martha) Aasen; sister Patricia Thomas; sister-in-law Artis Aasen; brother-in-law Larry (Sonja) Halverson; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, 2 brothers, and 5 sisters.
The family would like to give a special thank you to St. Croix Hospice, granddaughter Tabitha Dustin, and great-grandson Colten Dustin.
