Jeff Roth

Licensed Funeral Director ~ Owner ~ Crematory Operator

Jeffrey Roth was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  His family moved to Viroqua, when he was in first grade, to run the Country Kitchen.  It was there that Jeff learned hard, honest work was fulfilling.  He graduated from Viroqua High School in 1989 and attended UW-Stout.  In 1994 he graduated with a major in Vocational Rehabilitation and a minor in Counseling.  On October 22, 1994, he married Christine.

Jeff worked as a prison guard in the WI prisons for several years, eventually taking a position as a Probation and Parole Officer.  Later, he worked in construction.  In 2013 he went back to school to become a funeral director.  It quickly became apparent that things were changing in the funeral industry.  Jeff saw how the community valued cremation and wanted to make it possible for this service to be provided right here in the area.  Jeff combined his background as a carpenter, gas and wood stove installation specialist, and licensed funeral director to literally build the Roth Family Cremation Center and Funeral Services.  In September of 2020, Jeff opened the first onsite crematory in Vernon County.  This would ensure people could get great service at an affordable price.  

Jeff is actively involved at Believers Fellowship Church, the Viroqua Lions Club, Eagles, and a Board Member of the Viroqua Country Club.   In his free time Jeff enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He has been blessed with eight amazing children and four precious granddaughters.
